Eternal truth never changes.
The best analogy is like the sun that stays relatively stationary in the sky. as the earth turns slowly on its axis. But when man travels on the roads it can take many twists and turns. Sometimes the sun is ahead of us. Sometimes either to the right or left of us, and yes sometimes even behind us. All that can take place in seconds of time, when traveling in a car. Or even when walking this can happen during the day.
You can see then the sun has not changed at all. Merely the direction of the road one has traveled on. So too there is truth that is real and never changes. But man's knowledge that is gained and therefore perception of the truth that has changed over time.
