Dust storm, freezing rain storm, and sunshine...

all in one weekend bike trip! We headed out on the bike for the weekend just to explore a little while we are in AZ. We first headed to Silver City, NM which allowed us to ride through a dust storm, now let me tell you, that is no fun at all on a motorcycle, but we survived and the inhaler was well used! Next day we headed to Alpine, AZ. Now this was a beautiful place, you don't expect AZ to have this kind of scenery, I mean I think Arizona and I think hot hot desert, but it was a pleasant surprise to find the higher the elevation the nicer the weather as well as it was really beautiful. The roads were great for a bike ride we love the winding roads on a bike! We stopped along the way to visit a ghost mining town called Mongollon, one of the pics below is an old cabin there, we have others and will make a slide show when I get home to attach! We got to our place for the night and then Chad said we should go for a little ride to the next town and find something to eat. Well this ride allowed us to get caught in a freezing rain and wind storm! What fun! NOT! The evening was nice, no television, no phones, just good conversation with my sweetheart! I loved it! Next day it was time to head home, so we stopped in Tombstone, AZ, we have visited there a couple times cause it is just a short ride from where we are staying in Sierra Vista, AZ. We also checked out Bisbee and Chad went over to Patagonia, not sure I'll get to see that before we leave here this week! Below are some pictures of our trip!
