Chad's brother Gary celebrates another birthday today! We wanted to wish him a wonderful year! Love you Gary!

Keleigh is 6 months old!

Keleigh had her six month checkup Monday and she has really grown in height! She really sprouted the doctor said, she grew 3 1/2 inches since her 4 month checkup! She weighs 15 pounds now! So her height is in the 90% and her weight in the 25% but her combined because of her height puts her in only the 10%! Doctor says she is lean and long! She is really healthy other than her severe reflux issues which we hope is going to clear up soon, because if not she has to have some tests to find out more about what's going on.

It is really hard to believe that 6 months has gone by since Keleigh's arrival in our family! She has brought so much joy and laughter and happiness to our family. She is very loved by all of the family. She has a thing for her grandpa, she has to see him every morning when she wakes up to get her grandpa fix! Of course she loves her nana tons too but she likes her for comfort mostly! She loves to giggle and is sitting up alone and scooting all over the floor to get where she wants to go, we are wondering if she will ever crawl or just do the scoot thing till she walks! She giggles all the time and is always smiling, as a matter of fact that smile attracts many strangers in any public place we visit! They always are coming up telling us how beautiful she is! Of course we already know that! :) Prejudiced much?

News, News and more News!

We have a wedding coming up in our family! Jennie and Matt are getting married in August! They are using our cabin at Bear Lake for their wedding and reception! We hope for good weather and not too much construction! We have subdivided the property at Bear Lake and the new water lines etc. will be going in throughout the summer. Jennie will make a beautiful bride! We are so happy for them, looking forward to seeing family and friends gathered for the celebration!

Associates Degree!!! Yippee!

i hadn't wanted to post this until I could look online and see that my degree date had actually been posted and awarded! But it has finally so I officially have a real live degree since May 1, 2009!!! It's just the beginning! I know some may think an associates degree is not something to be so excited about but I have wanted to go to school for so so many years and I worked hard and I actually graduated with high honors! Notice all my ropes in my pics!!! I was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi in March of 2008 as well for being in the top 7% as a Junior! Ok I'll stop bragging, I just worked really hard while working full time so I'm just a bit proud of myself!

School is almost over for summer!

I'm almost finished with 4 of my 5 classes for summer! I'm so excited, to have all this homework behind me! I spend tons of time on my computer doing assignments, assessments, tests, and writing paper, papers, papers! I have 4 papers left to write and 2 are almost finished and I've done all the research for the other two. Two finals to take and a marketing plan project to finish up! I have A's so far! So I'm counting on my finals and papers to be good. I have registered for 18 hours for fall, I must be crazy! I'm just so excited to get my bachelor degree and get a job in my field, I can't wait!

The Grand Canyon!

Chad and I took a motorcycle ride to the Grand Canyon last Wednesday! It was great, we started off with going the "secret way" (Chad calls the long way around this), anyway we went the long way to Spanish Fork and spent the night with Jennifer's family and enjoyed some time with grandkids! Then we headed out on Thursday morning for the Grand Canyon! We went to the North Rim, and I have to tell you it was beautiful! It wasn't as 'breathtaking' as Mount Rushmore but it got close! We had a great afternoon and evening there and had the cutest little cabin (picture below), it had no television or phones so we got to enjoy total alone time, so nice! We had dinner at the lodge and I have to say I had a Frontiersman Salmon sandwich with roasted tomatoes and some garlic and it was the best sandwich I've ever eaten! Chad had prime rib and said it was delicious! We headed out the next morning to Bryce Canyon, we spent two days there because the weather was not cooperating. We had the cutest little log cabin there too! We had a great time and a great ride! We took over 400 pictures of canyons and hoo doos! We love hoo doos, Chad took me to Bryce Canyon when we had been dating about 3 weeks and we both loved the hoo doos,but didn't have a lot of time to see them it was just a quick ride there and back it was the first time he told me he loved me, so I don't know if that has anything to do with how much I am in to the hoo doo thing, but they are just amazing works of nature! Loved it!
