December Birthdays!

We have several birthdays in December and we want to say Happy Birthday to each and every one!
First our grandchildren:
Griffin celebrates his birthday on the 2nd!
Madison has a birthday on the 3rd (Griffins 4th birthday celebration was cut short for the birth of his sister)
Keleigh blessed our life when she entered our world on the 21st

We also celebrate two daughters in the month of December!
Jennifer on the 22nd and Jennie on the 26th

Krissy our niece and Patty (sis) celebrates her birthday on the 14th!

Post Script: If we forgot you, sorry, we're working on our birthday list...but with all the school assignments it has kinda been left for a bit, we'll get back to it, and hopefully we won't miss you next year!

A new baby in the family!

We're gonna be grandparents again!! We are excited for Sarah and Courtney! We are especially excited for Keleigh, she is getting a little brother or sister! So much fun is in store for her! I think Sarah wants another girl, and I gotta say I bet Keleigh will love that too! She has Jordan who is like a big brother to her already so I think she is gonna love a sister :)

November Birthdays!

We have some special folks in our lives we have to send birthday wishes to this month!
Dad Petersen's birth was November 2nd...loved those family parties...we miss him very much!
We have 4 nieces who celebrate their births in this special month of November:
Anneke on the 4th, Andi on the 9th, Leanne on the 29th and Tifani on the 30th!

Cutter Lane Roberts has made his grand entrance!

October 13th, 2010 we were blessed with this little one is our miracle baby, Jarrod and Heather have tried for near 12 years to have a little offspring all their own and finally when they were near hopeless he showed up on the scene! We are so blessed to have him in the family, and so very grateful that Jarrod and Heather have this little boy, we know he will be the love of their lives! He was a bit early but did so very well. Heather had an easy labor I think, it wasn't too long thank Heaven! Cutter weighed in at 7lb 5.9oz! He is such a cutie pie and we can't wait to meet him! Guess we are gonna make the trip the beginning of December since I have a ton of school work to do and little time to do it before graduation! But trust me there will be photos!

October Birthdays!

We have a few births in October we like to celebrate...these are some special births for us!
Nephew Ryan celebrates his birth today, the 1st!

Skype and September Birthdays!

We would talk to Keleigh on the phone, well I would start but she would always ask for "PaPaw" within a few seconds so we would talk to her but it was hard for her because she couldn't see us! Skype is a great thing, we had not used it before last night but Sarah loaded it on her computer and we on ours so we could chat with Keleigh and she could see us talking to her, it was so funny! She was in shock when Sarah answered and we popped up on her computer! It was fun talking to her and being able to see her little face getting tickled! She kept wanting to see Bella even though when she was here to visit she didn't care much at all for Bella! Anyway Skype is free and wonderful to use when you are long distance from babies you can't visit often! Soon as Jennifer gets a camera we will use it to see the kiddos there too!

We have a few birthdays in September we have to send a shout out to these special people in our lives! Jake will have his birthday on the 7th, and grandson Lukas will have his on the 27th! Happy Birthday guys!

July and August

July was spent packing up our stuff, giving away our stuff and hauling some stuff to the dump! It was busy busy, and took a lot of energy! We made 4 trips to Bend with our stuff. But we finally got here on July 23. We have a new blog now and I'm making a scrapbook of this one and will not be posting on it anymore. Things change, and circumstances are different so we have started a new blog to document our time in Oregon! This blog has been for our time in Utah.

We have a few July birthday's to mention and shout out Happy Birthday to...Colton celebrates his birthday on the 27th. Our sis Pat celebrates her birth on the 8th, and one of our nephews, Peter celebrates his birth on the 28th!

We also have some August birthdays to celebrate! Jessica will celebrate her birth on the 4th, and a niece Stephani will celebrate her birthday on the 9th.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY NOT A DESTINATION: Sometimes our journey is like a rollercoaster! Sometimes it seems it's all uphill. But a lot of the time we get to just enjoy the beach!
We're going to live by this and believe it! We are going to enjoy this part of our journey and look forward to the new things we'll get to experience on this part of our journey. Life is an adventure, enjoy!!

June stuff

I miss my home, but I'm doing ok here in Bend :) Chad is doing better than ok, he loves loves loves it here!

Just a little catching up. We got our house ready for listing and then found a realtor thanks to Joe & Stacy. She showed up at our door and we realized we had met her previously when Chad played the Outlaw a lot with Joe. She was previously married to a concrete contractor that Chad worked with a lot in the past. Nickie was a good realtor, and got our listings out and we had a buyer within just a couple weeks! He wanted to close right away but we held our ground and closed July 22, because there was no way we could get all our stuff out before this date! We miss our house! But Chad said yesterday he didn't miss Utah, I was shocked because he has lived there his whole life, but he said he just needed to be away from there now, oh well I guess he has his reasons! We talk to Sarah & Keleigh every other day and that's fun. Jennifer calls and Jordan talks to us, it will be more fun when we can understand both Keleigh and Jordan because they seem to want to tell us stories! Keleigh will talk to me for only a minute or two then she says to me, "papaw need papaw" ugh she likes him better than me! Griffin, Jada and Madi never have much to say but they will get online and tell us hello :)

We have a couple birthdays in June...Mine on the 26th and Gary P's on the 22nd...we cannot elaborate on what year we are celebrating we are so old we either stopped counting or forgot! :)

May Birthdays!

We have a couple of May birthdays we need to mention and celebrate! Sarah is 28 this year and Scott is 39! (wow Scott you're getting as old as me!)
We celebrated Sarah's birthday by going out for manicures and pedicures, it was a great afternoon! Me, Jennifer and Sarah plus we had lunch at Red Robin. Later the whole family had an ice cream cake and boy was it yummy!

Mexico again!

We went to the Riviera Maya in Mexico May 3-12th and it was wonderful! I don't have pics yet because we broke my laptop in route there! So I'm waiting on Chad to upload them to his computer. He went scuba diving and so we have some we have to also get developed I can't wait to see those, because he did cave diving and said it was great! We went snorkeling and had a wonderful time too! We did a cove where we saw turtles, then a lagoon where we saw a ton of beautiful fish, I love the tiger fish and those great big purple ones! Then we went to a Senota and that was beautiful! Didn't see a lot of fish there but still it was beautiful to snorkel in and the water was COLD! We did some sunburning, now we are doing the peeling! :) We ate some great Mexican food, and collected a few souvenirs but mostly we did a lot of relaxing! I read two fun books, not school books, although I should have read school books, but I couldn't get on the computer to do my classwork so I just didn't bother with it. So I'm almost all caught up now! We met some really cool people from Texas, and they live at the Trophy Club and that's just a few miles from where I raised my kids! They ride Harleys and so we may visit them and go for a ride!

Meeting Jaxon!

We decided we wanted to take a little motorcycle ride to meet Jaxon our newest grandchild. Jessie and Ethan live in Loma, CO so we loaded up the motorcycle and headed to Loma. It was a nice ride actually and didn't seem to take that long to get there. We spent the night in Fruita, CO and got up today and headed over to Jessie and Ethan's house. We got to see their new house and Chad helped move in some of their stuff as today was moving day for them! Jaxon seems to be a very good baby, and very alert. What a little sweetheart he is! I love love love the new house. It's all one level, that's what I want, just a one level home! I'm so tired of stairs! Tori took us out to the chicken pen and showed us her little baby chickens too! She loves catching them and then she is very loving with them!

Fun at Sandridge Park with the Grandkids!

Jennifer and the kids came up to help me pack up some stuff, so the realtor can start showing our house! So we decided to have a little fun with the kiddos and we headed over to Sandridge Park, it's a great little park and so pretty, great for taking photos!

7th Anniversary!

Well I don't have any photos of our anniversary celebration, mainly because we didn't celebrate! We postponed our celebration until the 3rd of May, we are taking a little trip for 10 days, and will do some celebrating then. I will post more about our trip when we return, with photos! We had this little trip coming to us so decided it was a great time to take advantage before we move to Oregon! I'm excited but hope I don't get a sunburn!

April Birthdays 2010!~

April is full of birthdays for us in our family! We have a few months like this, having combined our two families causes us to have a lot of birthdays, and I'm afraid a birthday wish is about all we can afford at this point. Unemployment puts a stop on anything of monetary value! So we want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND WE LOVE YOU ALL!

Next year we will have one more in the month of April! Jaxon should be here very soon! Due date is the 23rd of this month.

April 9th is Jakob (he's just turned 9)


and Joe...he is 34!



April 19th will be Macey's first birthday!





April 25th is Matt's day!



April 28th will be Jordan's 2nd birthday!

Chuck E. Cheese

The grandkids love Chuck E. Cheese so we took them there for some pizza and fun on Friday! We had a great time, they love the games and seeing how many tickets they can win for the silly little things they can trade them in for. This time they won enough to get some good stuff! They got a game, and some pocket pets too!

Spring Break & The Dinosaur Park

Jennifer and the grandkids came for a visit while they were out of school for Spring Break. Sarah came up too and brought Keleigh. So we took the kids to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden...hoping the little ones would enjoy it. Jordan was terrified, and Keleigh just wanted to push the wagon! Griffin was the only one who really enjoyed the dinosaurs but all of the kids enjoyed playing on the playgrounds, the slides were their favorites! We had a good afternoon, and the kids loved their souvenirs!
