Weddin this Saturday!!

We are excited Jennie is getting married this weekend at our cabin in Bear Lake! We are happy for her and Matt, and Macey too! I'm sure it will be beautiful and I'll post pics next week!! Here is a pic of the happy little family!

Tombstone & Bisbee...

these places are really cool little towns! Bisbee seems a lot like a hippie town to me, and was really cool to hang out in! Tombstone of course is supposed to be like it was way back when Doc Holliday hung out there! You know the OK Corral shoot out days! Here are a few pics of the time we have spent there, and we are hoping to head over one more time before we head home!

Dust storm, freezing rain storm, and sunshine...

all in one weekend bike trip! We headed out on the bike for the weekend just to explore a little while we are in AZ. We first headed to Silver City, NM which allowed us to ride through a dust storm, now let me tell you, that is no fun at all on a motorcycle, but we survived and the inhaler was well used! Next day we headed to Alpine, AZ. Now this was a beautiful place, you don't expect AZ to have this kind of scenery, I mean I think Arizona and I think hot hot desert, but it was a pleasant surprise to find the higher the elevation the nicer the weather as well as it was really beautiful. The roads were great for a bike ride we love the winding roads on a bike! We stopped along the way to visit a ghost mining town called Mongollon, one of the pics below is an old cabin there, we have others and will make a slide show when I get home to attach! We got to our place for the night and then Chad said we should go for a little ride to the next town and find something to eat. Well this ride allowed us to get caught in a freezing rain and wind storm! What fun! NOT! The evening was nice, no television, no phones, just good conversation with my sweetheart! I loved it! Next day it was time to head home, so we stopped in Tombstone, AZ, we have visited there a couple times cause it is just a short ride from where we are staying in Sierra Vista, AZ. We also checked out Bisbee and Chad went over to Patagonia, not sure I'll get to see that before we leave here this week! Below are some pictures of our trip!

Playing at the park with grandkids!

Jennifer and her kids came for the weekend and Ed and his kids were spending time with us too. The new cousins seemed to get along well! Here are some pictures we took at the park, some are in an attempt to get an engagement pic for invitations! We think they are a pretty cute bunch of kids!

Couple of sneak peaks of Sarah's bridals!

I couldn't resist posting a couple of the bridal pics we took of Sarah with Keleigh! So dang cute! I'm hoping she is ok with me posting just these two or so. I think they are really good, Jennifer took them and did a good job!

Missing my sweet husband!!!

I'm just feeling kinda lonely tonight and thought I'd post hoping my honey takes a look and sees this post to him! I sure am missing him! He is in AZ working and I have to be here to do wedding stuff for Sarah and I'm doing Jennie's cake so I'm trying to practice my decorating skills so I can do a good job, plus finishing up a class and getting ready for fall classes to start! I will be joining him as soon as possible! Sarah is going to take care of our house for us so we don't have to worry about it while we are gone so that is a great thing and will really help us out. We have to travel back and forth for the two weddings but then our trips will be limited because it is so far away, little more than 15 hour drive!

Anyway, I miss you Chad, and I love you!!!! Can't wait to get there so we can go exploring on the bike!!

August Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jessie! Jessie is 28 this year, she lives in Tooele so we don't see her much, but wanted to wish her happy birthday by way of blogging!
